Perennial love

My literature teacher asked me to create a love poem based on "Sonnet 43" which is a list poem.

I love you like the blossoming flowers in spring,
I love you in the heat of the fire-fueled heart
I love you and if you take out my wings
Winter would keep me apart.

I love you, but even in autum
When dark leaves conquer the ground,
I would love you as much as in summer,
When my love has fallen down.

  1. You´ve done an amazing job Cami. I appreciate the extra effor that rhyming implies. Your poem is very expressive and the image you´ve chosen adjusts to it perfectly well. Thanks for sharing your creation!
